TNG Top 50 Rankings: Week 4
See who moved up and who moved down following this weekend's results
We’re getting into the meat of the season now as district play opened for a number of districts this past weekend and a majority of the districts kickoff their campaigns this coming week. With the large number of tightly-packed quality teams ranked in the #10 to #50 range, there continued to be a fair amount of movement with the past week’s results and we’ll walk you through the most significant of those below.
Here are the main takeaways from the new set of rankings:
Top 10 remained virtually unchanged except the addition of Prosper at #10, up 6 spots with their win over Rockwall
Shadow Creek moved up 6 spots to #13 with a dominant 38-6 win over Bridgeland. The Sharks have started fast with wins over Manvel, Clear Springs, and Bridgeland
Highland Park moved up to #16 from #21 with their great win over Lake Highlands. The Scots are still likely underrated
Klein Collins moved up 8 spots to #22 with their win over Summer Creek as they continue to impress
Byron Nelson moved up 9 spots to #25 with their 79-20 win over Braswell in which they put over 800 yards of offense
New Caney moved up to #36, up 10 spots following their blowout of Willis
Marcus got back into Top 50 with win over Trinity, to #43
Clear Falls got back in with their win over Houston Lamar, to #45
Waxahachie at #52, Odessa Permian at #53, Austin Bowie at #61, and North Crowley at #62 are the top trending teams just outside this week’s Top 50
Without further ado, here’s the new TNG Top 50 for Week 4:
Color me shocked that Bowie did THAT and only moved up 1 spot and 5 ELO points.
